Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 looking for glory in Absa Under-19 Provincial Championship

The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 team is looking to go one better than the 2014 when they contest the Absa Under-19 Provincial Championship against EP Kings at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg early on Saturday.

The 2014 team lost to Western Province in last year’s final, but the Hayden Groepes team looks determined to go one better this year.
It will be a tough ask though, as the EP Kings team only lost once during the league phase of the competition.

That was against the Blue Bulls at Loftus a couple of weeks back, something Groepes will remind his troops of.

“We have the team to beat them as we have shown. But the Kings were the form team during the season, no doubt. That said, we both start square for the final and the winning team will be the one who use the opportunities best,” Groepes said.

The team is:

Kurt Webster, Coneree Poole, JT Jackson, Franco Naude, Divan Rossouw, Tinus de Beer (captain), Stephan Enslin, Denzel Hill, JD Fourie, Arnold Gerber, Eli Snyman, Sam Mitchell, Jaco Holtzhausen, Alandre van Rooyen, Gavin van den Berg, Replacements: Junqgo Hennings, Madot Mabokela, Rohan Goosen, Hendre Stassen, Luigy van Jaarsveld, Dale Hendricks, Ruan de Beer, Tshepiso Mahasha.
