Rondebosch Boys’ High goes purple for Premier Interschools
Rondebosch play Bishops at Bishops in a Mutual & Federal Premier Interschools match on Saturday, and they will be wearing purple hose.
The Rondebosch 1st XV are doing this, not as a fashion statement, but to increase awareness of all forms of bullkying in support of the JAG Foundation’s BullyProof campaign which culminates with South Africa’s first National Bullying Awareness Day on 26 July 2013,
The JAGBullyProof purple socks can be purchased for R100 . Supporters receive a pair of socks, and another pair of purple socks is donated to a child at one of the underprivileged JAGBully-Proof schools.

Hannes Nienaber covered schools' rugby in South Africa for Volksblad, Beeld, and Rapport for 11 years. He also created the biggest school rugby website in South Africa - School of Rugby - back in 2007. It eventually morphed into Supersport Schools Plus. He still occasionally milks cows.
