SuperSport Schools announces a groundbreaking addition to its broadcasting lineup for the upcoming winter season.

Starting this season, viewers can catch Friday NITE lights for field hockey matches (with an additional Wednesday night). This move comes after the historic broadcasting moment on 15 February 2024, where Al technology, by Pixellot, seamlessly streamed matches directly to DStv Channel 216 through Telemedia, marking a new era in sports broadcasting.

The upcoming season promises to deliver thrilling hockey action from across the country, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of these young athletes.

SuperSport Schools is committed to bringing viewers the sports they care about most and with this new schedule, viewers can look forward to experiencing the passion and intensity of field hockey like never before.

As a leading innovator in sports streaming, SuperSport Schools are incredibly excited to continue the momentum from the historic broadcast.

With Friday night lights and Wednesday alternatives, we are bringing the best of field hockey directly to our viewers, giving these players their #TimetoShine.

SuperSport Schools is supporting our Men’s and Women’s hockey teams in their preparations for the upcoming Olympics. Hockey fans can show their support by buying the official supporter shirts on Takealot.
