St Andrew’s College has appointed Eurico Marques as the Makhanda school’s Interim Master in Charge of Football in an effort to enhance and strengthen their football programme.

In a statement on social media, St Andrew’s College said: “In his role as the Director of Performance and Physiotherapist at the BSI, Eurico was instrumental in developing young football talents through comprehensive training programmes that blended professional football training with academic and character development.

“Eurico has played and worked in the professional football industry, fulfilling roles in senior and youth professional setups, and has experience in the South African and United Kingdom education sectors.
