Rosina Sedibane ease past Joburg City in GDL
Rosina Sedibane walked away with a 4-0 hammering win on Saturday against struggling Joburg City FC.
With no win in the new season of Gauteng Development League – Joburg city FC continue to struggle as they loose again at home.
They came to the game with three losses and two draws with two points while Rosina came to the game with two wins and three losses.
The game started on a high tempo as both teams were attacking from the first minute. The away team Rosina wasted no time as they take the lead in 11 minutes from a corner kick. Rosina extended the lead again in 22 minutes with a clinical strike from the striker.
Joburg City never sit back and defend but they tried to cause problems for Rosina goalkeeper as they test with with shots.
Just before half time Rosina made it 3-0 with a well taken goal from counter attack play.
In the second half the home team tried to get a goal but they were missing chances that they should hit the back of the net. Rosina were trying to protect their lead as they slow down the first half tempo.
Rosina Sedibane made it 4-0 in the 74 minute on another well taken goal on the right top corner. They went on to win the game 4-0 and move above on the table. The home team still looking for their fist win.
Their next game next weekend will away to Remember Elite. Rosina next game is at home against Randburg AFC.
