There is no stopping Zander de Ridder of the Limpopo Blue Bulls. He was once again instrumental in his side’s victory of 50-31 over the Western Province XV. De Ridder started this match at flyhalf and scored 20 of his side’s points.

He scored one of the Limpopo Blue Bulls’ seven tries, converted six of them and slotted a penalty for his contribution. The winning team’s inside centre, Juan Smith, was also impressive and slipped a couple of times past Western Province’s defensive line.

Western Province XV’s lock Liam Tattersall was red-carded after a dangerous tackle which hampered his side’s chances in the match.
