Results – Day 1 – SA LSEN-week 2016
KwaZulu-Natal and the Blue Bulls EE (Extraordinary Education) produced an exciting clash on the opening day of the annual South African LSEN-week (for learners with special education need) hosted by Affies in Pretoria. It is the 35th time that the tournament is being held.
KwaZulu-Natal’s midfield pairing of Sibusiso Ngqendwe and Bongumenzi scored five of their side’s tries in a match which saw the sides swap the lead quite a few times. Ngqendwe scored a hat-trick of tries.
The Blue Bulls’ captain and eigthman, Stefanus Britz, also scored a hat-trick of tries with his bullocking runs, but it was just not enough to secure his side a victory.
