Opening day of the Grant Khomo Week already have some exciting match-ups
The 2023 Youth Weeks kick off with Grant Khomo Week where the top u16 players from across the country will be representing their provinces.

This year’s tournament has been relocated to Boland Landbouskool in the Agter-Paarl after heavy rains forced a move from the initially planned venue at Paul Roos Gimnasium in Stellenbosch.

The following days’ fixtures will be determined by the results of the first day.
The opening day already promises a lot of excitement as the Sharks, who have only missed the main match at the Grant Khomo twice since 2015 take on a Bulls team that has shown promise and the Western Province and Boland teams finally get an opportunity to test their steel after their scheduled warm-up games against each other also fell victim to the weather.
The fixtures for the first day are:
A field: 08:00 – Pumas vs Griquas; 09:20 – Lions vs Falcons; 10:40 – Sharks vs Bulls; 12:10 – Leopards vs Limpopo Blue Bulls; 13:40 – Free State vs Border; 15:40 – Western Province vs Boland.
B field: 08:30 – Eastern Province vs Border CD; 09:50 – Zimbabwe vs Namibia; 11:10 – Western Province XV vs Free State XV; 12:30 – Griffons vs SWD.
