Maritzburg showcases the future of rugby talent at the u13 Craven Week
Maritzburg College will be hosting the u13 Craven Week and giving a glimpse into the future of rugby talent. Top performers at this event may well be the top performers at the u18 Craven Week in years to come.
The Lions dominated the 2022 u13 Craven Week, taking four wins and no losses. Western Province also had a great performance, earning three wins and only one loss.
Both teams have the potential to take control of the tournament this year, with two respectively strong squads.
One contender to take note of, though, is the Sharks. Not only will KZN be hosting the tournament at one of their premier rugby schools, but they have also produced some top rugby talent this year.
The Sharks will have four players from Westville as part of their squad. Westville this season has been known for their pace and aggressive rugby style. This is likely the approach we will see from the Sharks at this tournament.
This is set to be some competitive rugby and the victory could go in any direction.
