Kearsney Old-Boy James Miller selected for Scotland u20 World Cup team
James Miller, who matriculated at Kearsney College in 2016, has been selected as a back-row forward for Scotland, to play in this month’s 2018 World Rugby U20 Championships.
James Miller, who matriculated at Kearsney College in 2016, has been selected as a back-row forward for Scotland, to play in this month’s 2018 World Rugby U20 Championships. James plays for Watsonians, based in Edinburgh, and has also represented Scotland at U19 level.
Whilst at school, James played for Kearsney’s 1st XV for two years and was also selected for the KZN Craven Week team in 2016.
The World Rugby U20 Championship takes place between 30 May and 17 June and is being hosted by France this year. Venues at which games will be played are the Stade Aimé Giral in Perpignan, Stade de la Méditerranée in Béziers and the Stade d’Honneur du Parc des Sports et de l’Amitié in Narbonne.
Twelve nations will be participating, including South Africa, last year’s champions New Zealand and new comers Japan.
