Grey College digging deep to face Affies this Friday

Grey College will be hosting Affies this Friday at 18:00 in an inter school match up heavily weighted.

The clash against Affies will be a tough one for Grey College, having travelled to and from Paarl in the Western Cape, causing disruptions in the team’s practice schedule due to much of the team being affected physically by the wet weather and travelling time.

The last time these schools faced each other, Grey College walked away with bragging rights having defeated Affies 3-1.

Affies, however, will be looking for their revenge and the less-than-optimum Grey side forecasts rocky waters for the team from the City of Roses. 

 “There is a lot hanging in the balance, that we need to put back, and establish our strength over the whole, entire program,” says Wayne Coetzee, head of hockey at Grey College.
