Fixtures for the Noordvaal Bondedag of 2023
The annual Noordvaal Bondedag will return to Sasolburg this Saturday for the first time since 2015.
The hosts, the Valke, will face the Golden Lions in the main match in the DP de Villiers Stadium. The Valke could make a huge statement before the Craven Week in George with a victory over the Lions.

The match that most would watch with interest would be however the main curtain raiser between the Blue Bulls and the Sharks. The Bulls played in the main match of the last two Craven Week in Bloemfontein and Cape Town and would want to repeat this feat.
The Sharks are however the dark horses of this year’s tournament in George. They have however lost against the Pumas by 15-25 in an encounter last week. The team from KwaZulu-Natal did however play without their players from Hilton College and Michaelhouse which faced each other in their annual Midlands Derby.
Michaelhouse bagged their 100th victory in this interschools which started back in the 1800’s – a victory that eluded them since 2012.
