Fixtures for the Grant Khomo Week of 2017
The Coca-Cola Grant Khomo Week for u16 players will be hosted in Bloemfontein for the first time.
Grey College will host the Grant Khomo Week as well as the Coca-Cola Craven Week for primary schools (u13) from 10 to 14 July in the City of Roses.
The hosts, Free State, will meet Zimbabwe in the main match of the opening day of the tournament. The interesting fixture of the opening day is the main curtain raiser in which last year’s unofficial champions, the Blue Bulls, will face the most successful union in the history of the tournament, Western Province.
The Blue Bulls defeated KwaZulu-Natal by 23-20 in the main match of last year’s tournament in Paarl.
Western Province was crowned the unofficial champions of the tournament for three years in a row from 2012 until 2014.The Golden Lions defeated KwaZulu-Natal (31-24) in the main match of the 2015-edition of the tournament.

Western Province also has a second team attending the tournament and they will face KwaZulu-Natal in the main match on the B-field on the opening day in Bloemfontein.
The fixtures are:
A-field – Leopards vs. Namibia; Boland vs. Griqualand West; Golden Lions vs. Border; Western Province vs. Blue Bulls; Free State vs. Zimbabwe.
B-field – Griffons vs. Border Country Districts; Eastern Province vs. Free State XV; Limpopo Blue Bulls vs. Valke; South Western Districts vs. Pumas; KwaZulu-Natal vs. Western Province XV.
