School Profile – Die Brandwag
Die Brandwag in Uitenhage produced the first player of colour to lead the South African Schools’ side in 1996 when flanker Sean Plaatjies had the honour to lead the national schools’ side. The school has also produced notable provincial players in Wylie Human and Wayne van Heerden.
