Brooker stars during the opening day of SASHOC u18 Boys tournament
Jaydon Brooker starred for Southern Gauteng as they started their campaign off during the the first day of the SASHOC u18 Boys tournament in Bloemfontein with two victories.
Southern Gauteng defeated Amathole by 3-0 in a convincing victory with Brooker, Boipelp Koloti and Diahn Alberts-Flynn all finding the back of the net. Brooker scored a hat-trick of goals in his side’s second victory of 5-0 over Western Province’s second stringers.
Western Province seems like the other side to beat as they defeated Northern Gauteng by 3-2 in a closely contested match. Northern Gauteng’s striker Wilan Tollig opened the scoring in the third minute of the match.
Boland also recorded a solid 5-1 victory over Eastern Province with Rueben Sendzul scoring a brace of goals.
