Lohenzel Jansen, Luan Giliomee, Petrus Coetzee, and Christiaan Kershoff form a core group of experienced players who were part of last year’s tournament.

Armand Croeser and Brett Arendse have graduated from the 2023 Academy Week team and will be itching to show off their skills on the big stage.

Giliomee has captained Charlie Hofmeyr with distinction this year, often unlocking their opponents’ defences with the help of his lively inside centre, Philip du Plessis, who has also been selected for the Boland team.

HTS Drostdy, Worcester Gimnasium, and Porterville boast the majority of representatives after setting the pace in the region this season.

Aljay Skippers, Bennedict George, MJ van der Westhuizen, RW Duggan, and Marcus Lee represent the Drostdy Donkeys this year, while the neighbouring Worcester Gim provides Lohenzel Jansen, Chris O’Neil, Armand Croeser, and Amaan Adendorff.

Porterville has exceeded all expectations in 2024, recording some brilliant results. Those achievements have not gone unnoticed and have led to the inclusion of Howard Ocks, Llewellyn Fransman, and Keanu Plaatjies in the Craven Week squad.
