Always tough to travel to Makhanda to face Kingswood College
“Any trip to Kingswood is tough and it’s going to be another great game of hockey,”
That the words of Greg Dubus, first team girls hockey coach of Stirling.
What a way to kick off the first weekend in May with a thrilling derby game against Kingswood College and Stirling this Saturday at 12:30 in Makhanda.
Past games between these two schools have always ended up being a nail-biting experience having extremely tight games and teams winning the game only by one or two goals at the end like in 2022 where Kingswood prevailed with a very close 1-0 win against Stirling.
This year the Stirling team believes that a positive result can happen and Kingswood girls are going into the match with confident attitudes. Two driven teams that promise an entertaining game.
“The Kingswood College first team are looking forward to playing a competitive game and are feeling confident that their hard work will be rewarded,” said, Zimasa Dunywa, coach of Kingswood College.
