School Rugby Results – 18 March 2017
Eldoraigne produced the upset of the day by defeating Monument of Krugersdorp by 27-22 at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg. The match was a curtain raiser for the SuperRugby game between the Lions and Reds.
Eldoraigne build up a healthy 19-7 lead at the break. Their big star in the victory being their outside centre, Riaan Burger.
Helpmekaar’s matric group of 2017 lost their first match ever at home when they lost by 19-31 against Affies.
EG Jansen secured a 34-28 victory over Garsfontein in an important Tuks Series match. This encounter was a re-match of last year’s Virseker Beeld Trophy.
