Preview – Eldoraigne vs. Zwartkop
The FNB Classic Clash in Centurion this Saturday is between Hoërskool Eldoraigne and Hoërskool Zwartkop at Eldoraigne.
Last year when Zwarries won at home, it was one of the school’s successes that it most enjoyed. It seems unlikely that they will manage to replicate that victory. They have played nine matches and won just the first, against Riebeeckrand. For the rest they suffered heavy defeats except for HTS John Vorster who won 22-18. Their worst defeat was against Centurion who beat them 83-0.
On the other hand Eldoraigne did better against better opposition. The beat Hudson Park of East London, Trinityhouse, who beat KES this season, Rustenburg, Marais Viljoen and Klerksdorp. They lost to Hentie Cilliers of Virginia, Kempton Park. Hugenote of Springboks who are having a wonderful year, and Menlopark.
Of the two teams who met last year, only one player is back again this year – Eldo’s centre Marnus Venter.
