Fixtures for the Jeppe Rhino u16 Rugby Festival
Jeppe High School for Boys’ u16-team will face Diocesan College of Cape Town (Bishops) in the main match of the opening day of the 6th annual Jeppe Rhino Rugby Under-16 Rugby Festival. The festival will take place from 29th March to 2nd April 2018.
Jeppe will also play in the main game of the final day, when they will meet Randburg. On the Saturday they will face Grey High School of Port Elizabeth.
Jeppe old boy, ex-teacher and World Cup winning Springbok coach, Jake White is the patron of the event and he will be in attendance over the weekend. “I am honoured to be involved in this initiative which supports the development of Rugby and our future rugby stars, in such a direct and tangible way”, he said.
Jeppe’s B-field is named the White Field after their famous old-scholar and coach. White coached the first team from 1989 until 1994. The main field is named after legendary Jack Collard who coached the First XV from 1942 until 1960.
