DStv Schools Challenge trophy will find a place in Pretoria or Paarl
A new champion will be crowned today during the final day of the annual DStv Schools Challenge hosted by Hoërskool Florida in Roodepoort.
The defending champions, Hoër Meisieskool Oranje of Bloemfontein, was knocked out by Paarl Girls’ High (20-18) in the quarterfinals of the national competition.
Paarl Girls’ High will face Affies in the semi-final, while Paarl Gimnasium and Menlopark will battle it out in the other semi-final.

The semi-final between Affies and Paarl Girls’ High will take place at 10:40.
Paarl Gimnasium didn’t experience too much troubles in knocking out Potchefstroom Gimnasium by 25-8 in the quarterfinals. Affies on the other hand had too work very hard to narrowly defeat Helpmekaar-kollege by 24-23 in their quarterfinal.
Menlopark booked their place in the last four with a 27-17 victory over Hoërskool Rustenburg.
